Your Registration Fees

Your soccer registration fees are very competitive with those paid for other sports and leisure activities. Even so, you may be interested in knowing how the amount is set. For the indoor season, the fee is based on the team assessments made by Saskatoon Youth Soccer and Saskatchewan Soccer Association. These fees cover the staff time at SYSI required to organize the league and the registrations, schedule and assign fields, assign referees, and pay the referees. This sum also includes provincial registration fees which cover insurance for each participant. Prior to the beginning of the season, the Aurora Soccer Club breaks this out into a player-based fee, and adds its anticipated costs including the costs associated with evaluations, the registration process, training coaches, providing uniforms and purchasing and providing equipment. Based on that review, your Board carefully considered the anticipated expenses, and additional costs which will be carried by the Club for the coming year, which include the costs associated with developing and implementing an online registration system. and arrived at a registration fee for the 2011/2012 indoor season of $425 per player.
